You don’t have to phone around or wait for someone to visit before you know roughly what your couch will cost. From Vosloorus, it starts with your phone.

## What to photograph

Send these to 074 019 9297 on WhatsApp:

1. The whole couch, from the front.
2. The worst patch, close up: the tear, the peel or the stain.
3. The cushions, if they’ve gone flat.

Daylight helps. A dark photo of a dark couch hides the very damage we need to see to price it.

Say you’re in Vosloorus. We price collection by distance, starting at R250.

## What comes back

Kwanele sends you the material options and a quote. On a full re-cover, you’re paying for foam, fabric and labour on the frame you already own. If you’re happy, we bring the fabric and leather samples to your home, you choose, and we collect on the day we agree.

That communication carries on while your couch is with us. We keep you updated, tell you when it’s done, and you choose the delivery day. Sifiso Ndlovu wrote: “I still hardly believe the transformation you refurbished on my couch”.

## Old pieces too

A photo works for antiques as well. The antique settee in the before-and-after above went home in a floral print on its original wooden frame. For a piece like that, we’ll want a close-up of the carving too.

Read [what happens on collection day](/blog/what-happens-on-collection-day/) so you know what to expect from the first message to delivery.
